TaxTide collects no data. None. Everything you enter — trips, dates, evidence photos, tax profiles — is stored only on your device, protected by iOS file encryption. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no TaxTide servers: the app makes no network requests of its own.
Your timeline of stays, evidence photos, tax rule settings, and generated PDF reports live in the app's private, encrypted container on your iPhone. They leave your device only when you export them — for example when you share a PDF report or a JSON backup. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. TaxTide sees only an anonymous entitlement ("Pro is active") from StoreKit — never your name, payment details, or Apple ID.
Safe-days alerts are computed and scheduled on your device by iOS. No notification data is transmitted anywhere.
There are none. TaxTide contains no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or ad networks.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be published at this address and noted in the app's release notes.
